I gotta admit that I spit out my water last night when LBJ said he never played on a super team
Man I was in the middle of something and whipped my head around with a shocked look. He's the father of this super team stuff

Its all relative and semantics.

In the context of this Warriors team, LeBron has not been on a super team.
In the context of the league over the last 15 years, he's definitely been on 2 super teams.

Whether you call LeBron's teams "super" and this Warriors teams "mega-super"... or whether you call this Warriors team "super" and LeBron's teams not super... its all the same thing. Who cares?

Not really!

If we never had Superman, would we not consider Batman and Spiderman super-heroes?

There's a clear difference in raw strength between them, but that doesn't mean the others aren't worthy!

keep making excuses for the GOAT.

He has the ball up top and drives hard to the hoop, no one is stopping him. and he has done it numerous times down the stretch now.

Spoken like someone watching their first basketball game ever.

Gotta ask what we're all thinking -- who the hell would trade for Love at this point?

A lot of teams. Love's problem isn't that he suddenly can't or forgot how to play. He's a non ball dominant player playing alongside 2 ball dominant players in Lebron and Kyrie. It's easy for him to be forgotten by the other 2.

The same thing used to happen to Bosh in Miami. The difference is that Bosh could still impact the game on the defensive end of the floor where Love can't.

LeBron knows its a great long shot for this Cavs roster to beat the Warriors 4/7.
James only plays for rings which means the Cavs roster can't stay as is.
Not sure what Cavs can do to even the playing field.
It's going to be an interesting summer.

This was the summer we saw coming. Just came a year late.

So, can we all look back 11 months ago and laugh at how everyone thought that Durant was going to be relegated to the role Harrison Barnes had? Did people really think that was going to happen?

And still have no chance to win with his hand picked, highest salary roster of all time.
Too fucking funny.
Wonder what the theme for his Halloween party will be this year?

I won't use the word lucky, but the Cavs are very fortunate to have their 1 title.
It stands forever and erases all the ghosts.....but fore fun, can you even image the chaos we'd be seeing now if they didn't win last year?

I'm thinking something of a "Reality just hit me in the gut". Those contracts given to TT, Shumpert and JR aren't looking to good right now.

What a surreal night. This championship was every bit as thrilling as the first. Cavs gave them every thing they could handle and needed an all time great game by KD to get it done.

Who would have guessed a 2nd round rookie playing 12 minutes in a finals close out game and played well. Pat McCaw...non-rotational player. @tlance

Also @WiggyRuss we never set up our vcash bet on the series so I don't know how to finalize it. I know @Mecca has first dibs on the avi bet so I'll wait my turn.

Just hyped man. Congrats also to Cavs fans @gordontrue and @Shanemansj13 on a great season.
@CitySushi , @Mecca

congrats on wining on our bets. We will have to finalize the vcash situation.

2nd- dude- McCaw was awful- he bricked 2 threes badly- and kyrie scorched him - he played like shit

3rd- congrats to all warriors fans---- on a great season. A fun year of NBA basketball. The Cavs blew any chance they had at this series when they couldnt close out game 3.

But Lebron will get the lion's share of the blame. Strange how that seems to work out.

Unfortunately, when you're the best in the game, that's how it seems to work. Fair or not.

Having said that, Lebron essentially built this team, so some of the blame does go to him. But to be completely fair, there's no way he could predict that the Warriors would be able to land KD.

I agree. Lebron the GM gets the blame here. Lebron the player did what he could do. The rest falls on the roster that HE put together.
