just seems like there is a different intensity/focus when craw is in, regardless of his productivity...

I keep waiting for the spell to break, but Krukow broke it down on morning radio. Pitchers get older, and lose their velocity, and some never figure out how to pitch effectively in a whole new way (Timmy). But many do. Cain is a talented veteran, who seems to have figured out how to get guys out with location and speed changes. That's all Maddux ever did (not that he's Maddux but you get the point).

So the question is...if the dude finished the year 10-9 with a 4.05 ERA....do you re-sign him? I suppose for a 2 year $20 mil type deal why not?

Grandall and Posey are the 2 best pitch framers in baseball though, so I won't complain much
