Almost exactly my ideal lineup. Nunez has been playing well, so I have no prob with him getting additional PT.
I wonder if Bochy will rotate Nunez, Ruggiano and Williamson between the two corner spots until Pence returns.

I think Mac will be in every day. We gotta know what we got with him. This is his time.

I think Span, Ruggiano and Nunez will rotate with Span playing the most, Ruggiano playing the least. I think they need to see what Ruggiano can do in center, and if he is average or better, Gorkys is DMW.

Fun facts about Mac Williamson, he had the hardest hit ball, highest average exit velocity on all balls, and highest average exit velocity on Line drives/fly balls on the team last year. It wasn't a very big sample size, but the ball tends to jump off his bat.

He was sandwiched between Josh Donaldson and Joc Pederson as the 10th highest in MLB in the latter category, Justin Bour and Albert Pujols as the 30th highest in MLB in the middle category, and Manny Machado and Ryan Rua as the 14th highest in MLB in the former category.

And he starts off with a base knock. Stay hot, kid

Exit velocity: 109.5, which is higher than his average last year. Granted it was a ground ball, but still a rocket.

Nunez was swinging the bat well the first week of May. However, his month slash of .261/.286/.312 is very backup middle infielder (or elite defensively starting middle infielder) like.

Cain will be lucky to make it 5 innings with that pitch count.

Edit: Although that double play could help him get 6.

Joe Panik has been cold the month of May. He is slashing .240/.264/.300. That's worse than Nunez.
