its alright.. still the first week, which always sucks cause i dont have enough to do to keep me busy.. but the guys seem pretty cool, and a couple guys hired in with me.. its nice to have people my age around, both my internships with this company had me as the youngest by about 15 years

i'm doing mining stuff.. like spec-ing out equipment for mines and taking them to bidders.. at least that's what i'm doing so far haha

big adjustment to working 8-530 though.. i feel like there is no time in the day when i get home!

ha yeah, we engineers work awful hours. you'll get used to it though, sucks you'll miss the first hour and a half of flyers games though.

ya, its not too bad though, i get every other friday off, including this vital one (July 1) so i cant be too upset with the hours

the flyers games however, could pose a very big problem.. already thinking of the solutions.. i'll probably have an iphone by then, so i can listen and come on here when something interesting happens and you guys can explain it to me.. or i can buy a hockey package and dvr and just start them an hour and a half late.. and catch up by fast forwarding the commercials and 1st intermission

i dont know if i can handle not knowing what the flyers are doing while they're playing for an hour though

feb. 28th i'm going to the sharks/flyers game though.. thats one nice thing, 45 mins to games from here, instead of the closest being 4 hours (like in blacksburg)
