Hey, I am not a HOF voter. Don't blame me for their neurosis when it comes to that position. I don't like it either. They just sandbagged Kuechly from the HOF. Gates didn't get 1st ballot either. I wouldn't have it as a lock.

13 players in the history of this game had more All Pro seasons than 7. Aaron Donald (8) is the only one who played all his seasons in the 21st Century.

7 time 1st team All Pro and 2 time 2nd team All Pro.. that is almost a full decade on All Pro team.

The could have ended up on the same team. The Rams tried to trade up for Martin at #17 in the 2014 Draft. The Cowboys were smart to pick him at #16.

He was very good. HoF for sure IMO. He doesn't have rings but those All Pros and Pro Bowls will get him in. The hall looks seriously at whether someone was the best at their position during their career, and clearly he was as evidenced by those numbers.

But...this may be a blessing in disguise for Dallas because he was breaking down some and paying him would have been a risk.
