Pondering the Niles Paul Paradox - Husker Football
This pretty much embodies my opinion of him. It's a serious love/hate relationship I'm sure we all have with him, and I'm just not sure if he has what it takes to be great.
He was quoted (by me... and everyone) at the Big 12 media days as saying "I beleive i'm the best wide receiver in the Big 12."
Ryan Broyles would beg to differ with a 9 Rec. 142 yard 2 TD performance
(144 rec. 1,949 23 TD career)
To Niles paul's 5 rec 92 yds 1 TD performance (69 rec 1,108 5 TD career)
Bottom line is that Niles has yet to put it all together, and I don't know wether that's exciting or disconcerting considering he's in his 4th year in Wat's system...
He could extinguish all of my doubt with a solid, no mistakes performance against Washington come September 11th.
