Did you know the Chrysler 318 and 440 are the only gas engines to be really marinized for boats in salt water....with brass gaskets and everything? They are so much better than Chevy 350 and 454s, it's not even close.

"rock solid" pose here…the dodge 318 is a working man's motor, just as is chevy's 350.


tremendous US manufacturing genius. we will never see it again in this country. everything today is farmed out worldwide. and the parts are fucking what there worth…zilch. car makers create more problems today by globalizing production…just my opinion tho.

Best marine engine is a Detroit Diesel 2 stroke. Those things love to run at max rpm, full load.
