2. A Roy Halladay type dropoff from Max Scherzer
3. Bryce Harper signs a record deal with the Phillies and immediately falls off the map
4. Jacob deGrom pulls a Parkman from Major League and calls his teammates losers
5. Noah Syndergaard remains winless in his career against the Braves
6. Josh Donaldson becomes the second player to win an MVP in both leagues

I think Marco has the stuff to be a 2/3 guy in a good to solid rotation. O'Neill is just looking like at BEST a 4th outfielder right now. Not a great fielder and strikes out way too much. His raw power is something special but it doesn't matter if he can't connect.

If you ever get there, make sure you go to a night game and take a few hours before to visit Ballpark Village. Great gameday experience

Left center field bleachers are the best spot to watch from. Just make sure you don't go on a day when the temps are in the low 110s and humid as hell

That's funny dude. At the Golf Tourney, I was spent, the sun and the humidity were brutal.

Eduardo Rodriguez stays healthy, develops a third pitch and finally breaks through.

rebound from JBJ. He had a rough first 2.5 months before hitting very well the rest of the season (batted .273/.343/.491 with a 119 wRC+ from June 17-Sep 30), looking more like he did at the plate in 2015-16.

100+ games from Pedroia. 2016 is most likely his last good season, but if he can play 100 games and at least hit like he did in 2017 (101 wRC+) then he's still a fine player. I'd rather not see Nunez get another 600+ innings at 2nd base.

200+ innings from each of Sale/Porcello/Price. Sox bullpen looks very iffy, so they need these guys to go 6+ routinely.

2. Injuries stay to a minimum.
3. They win the AL Central again.
4. The Red Sox, Yankees and Astros take a step back while the Indians get hot right before the playoffs.
5. The outfield production gets much better and they get more production from role players.
