Yeah, I'm still here: Sox clinging to 1st, the Surging O's, 3rd place Yankees

Yes that is a joke

Yeah, the Jays will get recognition before the Padres ever do.

Yeah...a quiet 6. Starting pitching has been decent for once....less solo hrs, more run producing. We aren't dead yet.

How did you get to be a Jays fan?

How did you get to be a Jays fan?

Grew up in a family of yankee fans...grandma buried in a starter jacket. Polish little lady. First game I saw was in NY vs. Jays in 1985....Jays hammered them and I fell in love with their outfield...pitching (loved Dave stieb)....uniforms and I never looked back.

If the yanks were good...I might just have been a Yankee fan. My uncle still gives me shit for the teams I root for living in ny (not the city...albany/Schenectady area).

I'm 40 now with a 4 yr old son and 8 yr old daughter....no idea who he will be a fan of but she is the Angels for completely unrelated baseball reasons.

Seriously my brother in law brings them over still....he's 37. One thing I do not return for my 5 cents. We used to drink a 40 called Crazy Horse....ever heard of it? They don't sell around here anymore...people were getting too effed up.

Padres strike first and get to Zeets. 1-0 :yahoo: They'll need more to beat this team.

Good story. :suds: I grew up in Middle TN and the only teams we could see were the Braves (TBS) or Cubs (WGN) and I remember seeing them come to Jack Murphy and it'd be late where I was but the sun was just setting there and the palm trees in the outfield and the unique uniforms, etc. I fell in love for life. Somehow ended up out here and have been to at least 100 games. Didn't go to any in 2011 but several last year and plenty this year planned.

Probably have seen it. We have all sorts around here. Magnum, Mad Dog 20/20, and another silver one I can't remember. Like 11% alcohol. 5% max is good for me.
