Fullmer hits Sanchez, Kahnle throws behind Cabrera, Cabrera and Romine throw fists, Betances hits McMann in the head, then Wilson hits Frazier

Wilson and Betances each get 5 games. Kahnle will get 3 or 5 games. Romine will get 1 or 2 games. Miggy and Gary Sanchez could get as much as 10 games. Both managers will get 1 or 2 games. A few others will get some time for throwing punches in the middle of it all.


I was listening on the radio when Betances hit McCann and at that point in the game it would have been stupid for Betances to throw at anyone. All the brawling was over and the Yankees had just come back and tied the game. So I was thinking one got away from Betances. Then I saw the video, it does not look like it got away from him.

Yes some of those 5 game suspensions have been when throwing at someone's head.

Roughned Odor got 8 games last year. The biggest non PED or gambling suspension in baseball history is 30 games and 10 games overs the past 17 years.

Kahnle shouldn't get anything at all. The Umps should be suspended for their poor job of handling that. I can't see Miggy or Sanchez getting 10 games either. I'll say more like 6 or 7 games

I probably should have put Fulmer in there with Kahnle. I think MLB looks back at the last series between these two teams and sees where Kahnle hit Mathook twice and Fulmer hit Ellsbury in retaliation.

There shouldn't have been a warning after Fulmer hit Sanchez. You must give the team a chance to retaliate. Kahnle should not have gotten ejected. A warning should have been handed out after that as that was the Yankees revenge for Fulmer throwing at Sanchez.

The big problem on our side is we only have 2 catchers on our 40man and both will be suspended from this.
