He calls a run play with less then two minutes left (which is ok) and then uses a timeout???? This man is beyond retarded. You don't call a mother fucking timeout there. Cost us the game. An some of you think he doesn't have a problem with clock management. Morons

We have another timeout, we force them to run three legit plays and who knows. But no, dumbass Dana burns a timeout on a stupid run play. Honestly the man steals over 3 mill a year from this university. He should have an explanation for that horrid call.

Have to disagree Ralphie, there were several things that killed us tonight BUT I DO put some blame on your favorite head coach, he is still at best a good OC but an average to below average HC imo.

You could point to a heck of a lot more than a run play late in the game that cost us that one. I agree with you that I would not have called that play, but getting the ball back with 30 seconds or less was not a guaranteed victory.

He is absolutely right. Had we called the timeout before the KSU FG and not run the ball, we would have been able to force KSU to kick a FG and if he missed, would have another 10-20 seconds to go 80 yards and score.

Don't blame, the fumbles, Interceptions, Fumbles, missed FGs or backup cornerbacks inability to cover Tyler Lockett for this loss, it all come down to one poorly used time out.

I'm a moron too. Even though I didn't go to Paris Island… I don't think WVU lost last night's game due to poor clock management at game's end.

:agree: WVU lost the game, AGAIN, because the coaches have yet to address those easy to cure turnovers.........

Well I did sign on the dotted line to go to Paris island so you may be right! :yahoo::pound::yahoo:

And I thank you (in all seriousness).

You're still a moron saying the loss was anything else but time management. Remember, if you're a moron then the rest of the quartet are morons. You will not stand alone.

There were so many things that cost WVU this game - but clock management was not one of them (this time). Execution, now that is one of the keys. A failure to execute some very simple plays designed to capitalize on WVU speed. But they just couldn't execute - especially inside the K St 30.

We spot them a 20-3 lead so no one should be surprised that we came up short. Once Howard came in, WV put up a respectable comeback but came up a few points shy
