This is my thing...I don't give a damn about all these allegations and or stories unless some firings are going to occur and a team being banned for something. Until that happens its just blowing smoke up ppl's ass just to get rumors buzzing. What's going to happen to the patriots, probably another SB appearance and more talks about Brady's greatness.

I totally agree Vita and Zeke. He was a very good OC but a complete jackass as a HC. What he did to Warner and other players and this whole affair with Goodell is ample evidence of it as you stated Vita.

Of course Zeke. When it is becoming increasingly clear that Belicheat stole that victory just like he did with Carolina and Philadephia, Marshall and other players' concerns are justified. Wouldn't be surprised if he did the same with the fourth one.

Pats D supposedly knew that slant was coming before the snap, despite the Seahawks never running that slant all year (or scoring via pass from inside the 5 all year).

Yep. There is emerging evidence to indicate Belicheat and Kraft did it again against Seattle. After all the complaints from four different teams are the same. How can four teams conspire to take down the Patriots? You notice none of the players on superbowl teams that beat the Patriots have the same complaints? Something is very wrong here and Goodell is trying to cover it all. If I were the other owners, I press this to get to the bottom. I know Al Davis would have went after Kraft and Goodell.

You know, I never like MM. Always thought he was a jackass, this just confirms it.

He was a damned good OC though but now we all know, he was a terrible leader and a bad human being....

He reminds me of Norv Turner in that way. Solid OC but when he was a head coach, he was awful. He also reminds me of John Gruden in that he was the benefactor of taking a Dick Vermeil created team to the Super Bowl, which anyone could have done, just like what John Gruden did in Tampa Bay after Tony Dungy left. Then of course, slowly but surely both teams have fallen apart since then and neither one has ever come close to reaching that level since then.

I'm honestly beginning to think there was some criminal involvement here. (ala Pete Rose... y'all know.... Gambling!!)

Maybe if this was all investigated by Congress, we would have seen Goodell and possibly Kraft behind bars!

I agree Vita. I think this has reached that level and the Superbowls ought to have an asterisk next to them or the loser's declared the winner as a result of a Congressional investigation but I doubt anything will happen.

Truth be told, even if the Pats knew that play was coming, it never should've been called.

Last night's episode of The League referenced it with a guest spot from Marshawn.

The play call itself is debatable I guess. But if you haven't run it all year or in that fashion almost makes it seem a smart call. But it doesn't matter what you run if the other team knows whats coming. I guess you could make the argument Marshawn scores from there 10 out of 10 times.

The Pats did know it was coming and Russell and Carroll should have had the audible in play or simply Russell fake the hand-off and take it in himself.
