I just came across this on Twitter, and I'm not quite sure if it will affect wrestling as a whole or not whenever it passes

FWIW, wrestling (well, WWE since people refer to them the most when talking about it) don't actually have non-competes. That's a misconception that gets repeated by the dirt sheets.

What happens is WWE gives a talent 90 days notice that they are going to be fired. They're still employed and paid, they just know when they are being let go. They are also free to quit any time once they are notified but if they do, they are no longer paid for those final days. Pretty much everyone that gets fired waits the entire 90 days because why not? You're getting 90 days of guaranteed income.
