Forgot about Thursday night football and 20 minutes prior to kickoff realized Doug Martin was still in my lineup. Since D Williams is my RB in another league I'm well aware of Tolberts vulture abilities so I picked him up. Ended up getting 14 points instead of the zero I very nearly picked up. Sweet

There is nothing more annoying in fantasy, when you are facing a team starting a tolbert type player(should be benched), and he has a good week... its funny, when you are a good team, you get lucky with those decisions... if you are a bad team then you would have been the one lucky enough to pick up mike James... Fantasy is a funny thing aint it??

I'm a Williams owner, and two weeks ago I lost to the Tolbert owner because Tolbert vultured two TD's.

The guy only played Tolbert because he was stricken with byes.

Sucked.

Yeah I hate those weeks. I benched DWill last night because Tampa hadnt given up a rushing TD all year so of course he gets one. Hopefully Lamar Miller or Pierre Thomas, havent decided yet but leaning towards Miller, outproduces the paltry 9 points that he got last night.

On the other hand, thank you Cam Newton for finally using your legs like you should have been doing all season.

Its funny, you look at the last place teams and see who they fill in as their bye week replacements off the waiver wire, and you look at who the best teams fill in... Usually the best teams use random people who you would never think would do great and they just somehow do well enough... While the last place guys will get the top waiver picks and those players will just not do well that week...

When you are a bad team somehow the murphy law comes into action, when you are a good team you somehow get lucky always!!!

It just goes to show you how much luck is involved in avoiding the injury bug and other things that need to go your way if you want to win.

Right now im 3-4 in my money league but im 4th in scoring and 3rd is scoring against...you would hope stuff like that would balance out.

Truth. The best teams also know when to cut bait. HOU defense? Gone. Stupid forced autodraft gave me that one to begin with, but guys like HNicks, HOU Def, Kaep, etc who don't produce will be hung onto by teams that usually end up in last place (keeper leagues excluded). The guys who win are the ones that can pick up no name guys that produce in certain weeks against certain teams. I just keep picking the defense going against TPA, Minny, or NYG and so far haven't lost to another teams defense this year.

That is where you hope to heck the league has a playoffs. If it isn't, then you are probably stuck at this point of the season. If there are playoffs, you might still be fine

yes 6 team playoff starts in week 14.

over my final 6 games 5 of them are against teams above me so I still have a shot. I just need to win...
