I feel the same way about announcers...especially the TV network announcers. The team radio network announcers, you either love'em or hate'em...for both the Steelers and Falcons I love the radio network team...they are homers, but professionals, generally call it as they see it. I'm more inclined to listen to them over the TV people if I'm watching the game by myself.

"All of them..." IDK about all of them. There are plenty of guys that get the ALL22 tape every week that probably know as much or more about football. I dare say though, those two ladies have to pride themselves on some kind of knowledge.

I know Doris Burke who does NBA games...she knows basketball, inside and out. I have zero issues with her game call.

Even with All 22 tape. You don't know more about coverage recognition and reads than Troy Aikman man. lol

But you did say "all", I took that to mean play by play announcers as well. I would put my knowledge up against some of them...some of them wouldn't know cover2 with man underneath when they saw it. They don't need to know it.

Name me a current NFL analyst, not play-by-play guy, who doesn't have the experience of having played in the NFL. No female has that qualification and thus should not be considered for the job.
Its bad enough to have to listen to a screechy voice do the play-by-play but do we have to listen to some chick tell us what its like out there on the field who doesn't have any more clue than we do?

That because someone never played the game they aren't qualified to analyze or call mplay by play is garbage. There are people in all the 4 major North American team sports doing it and/or more.

I believe Charles Davis never made an active Roster, and pairs with Kenny Albert.
