There are reports Kuzma is available. Should we try and trade for him?

The proposed trade out there for Kuzma is Beverley, Nunn, and a Second. The sticking point is I believe the Wiz want one of those coveted First Rounders but that ain't happenin' because the FO has put a kabash to trading any of those future First Rounders

Not a fan of the fit ultimately. I can't see Kuzma being happy coming back to a reduced role behind Lebron and AD again.

Wizards aren’t trading Kuzma.

Plus, Kuzma wouldn’t want to play a reduced role in LA after having success elsewhere.

Begs to question: Do the Lakers have a problem developing players, or do they have a problem fitting guys into their system?

Randle, Ingram and now Kuzma have all left the Lakers and become stars elsewhere. Stars they didn’t become while with the Lakers.

So, where does the problem lie within the Lakers organization?

I disagree Retro.

The Lakers need to start thinking beyond the James/Davis era, and this trade gives them another young guy to add to the core of Christie/Bryant/Reaves/Pippen Jr?

Hachimura is a solid player with a 7’2” wingspan who can hit 3’s and defend. His last game before the trade he scored 30 pts. He’s not a scrub.

Giving up Nunn, who was dead weight, and 3 2nd rounders is a good deal for a young player that was a top 10 pick just 4 years ago.

I agree on moving Nunn. I think three second rounders is a bit too much but I shaint quibble!

Maybe, but since 2 of them a years down the road, and they had an extra 2nd rounder this year, it’s not as bad as it looks on the headlines.

Let’s just hope it works out because this team needs young players for the future sans LeBron and Davis.

They can always buy more 2nds anyway. It's surprising that 2nds have as much trade value as they do IMO.

Nope.

They developed guys like Nance, Zublocka, Clarkson, Caruso, Reaves, etc.

And Ingram, Randle and Kuz all played well for the Lakers but they had to trade them to get AD.....

They just really turned into stars when they were traded.....

I could see the Celtis making an offer.

Then again, they could be making a deal with OKC for Mike Macalus and Kenrich Williams.
