lol - What's got Tony's knickers in a knot this time?

that its exploitative ... that the kids should be allowed to have the summer off to recuperate injuries from a gruelling junior season ... that they feel obliged that they NEED to attend this thing otherwise they are off the world junior team radar for good

"WHERE ARE THE KIDS AGENTS???" lol

I wonder how much of that rant was fuelled by Canucks prospect Jared McCann taking a pretty good hit and being held out of last night's game for precautionary reasons.

i dont think much at all really ... He has always railed against the CHL "machine" ... persona non grata when it comes to Ron Toigo and the Vancouver Giants

if the junior kids ever start a legit union, he'd probably quit at the province to do their pr lol

I'm not sure he's entirely wrong though. All of these guys probably skate/play over the summer, but this is a little more than that. And Hockey Canada definitely holds grudges.

Can someone explain to me why there's a goalie with a .891 SV% on the Canadian roster in this tournament? Oh that's right, he played on a team that allowed 2.5 fewer shots per game than the #2 team in the league and won a bunch of games. He knows how to win!

I see the Russians are as classy as ever. Makes it even sweeter when Canada stomps them when it really matters.

I dunno, I thought it was pretty funny that he batted it out of the air into the net with his hand after his shot was saved. Nothing to freak over.

That lit the fuse, it was the other Russian who scored in the shootout that buzzed the Canadian bench popping the logo that exploded proceedings.
