I like Bridgewater if they can not trade back. Trading back is always the right move because teams are still using the outdated trade chart from back when early picks got megajillion dollar contracts as rookies. They overweighted early picks and teams ended up having to give up to much to move up just a few spots. That is no longer the case. Might as well let teams overpay for trading up before everyone catches on.

I think you have that backwards. There is less reason to move back now. Teams used to want to move back purely out of salary cap reasons. Now higher picks are worth more because you are getting a potentially higher talent with a relatively lower price tag.

This one is dead locked at 9 each. I'll leave it open until one of these QB's pulls away from the pack.

The more I think about this the Browns should probably take Watkins. Of course in this poll he was already taken, but if he is available take him.

Hoyer is the guy under center and they can pick up a free agent QB or draft a QB later to back Hoyer up. It makes sense right??

I say Offensive Lineman to protect the QB. They can go out in FA and pick up maybe Micheal Vick or make a trade for one of the back ups to start in Cleveland. Apparently they have given up on Wheeden.

All I could think is how would the Dog Pound react if the team leader was Vick?

Just saying....

As to the pick, I went with Teddy. I think based on the picks leading up to this, and the need to have stability at the position, Johnny is more risk than the Browns want to tolerate. The owner is used to being in a business where your past decisions are a sunk cost, and you leave them behind instead of compounding a mistake. Sorry, Brandon, but that starting position may be out of reach. Good luck, Brian, but you may be the opening day QB but are probably not the season closer.
