who's job is on the line schoop or ryans ? could be a wake up call for schoop but i hope not . schoop had several huge homers when no one else was hitting .
I'll say Schoop's is. Hopefully with a year of MLB experience under his belt, his productivity will improve greatly. Flaherty is nothing more than another Robert Andino, who's good for filling in but should never be a regular starter.
Flaherty definitely. Schoop is way too young to give up on and despite his struggles he still hit 16 major league HR and he is still very, very young. We have the good fortune of having three potential shortstops playing three of our infield spots with Machado at 3B, Hardy at SS, and Schoop at 2B. Schoop's future might be replacing Hardy if his bat every does get even remotely more consistent. He really had no business being in the majors last season, but the O's really had nobody else.
