Clemson....Winthrop....I'm just not seeing the difference. 3 point game.....all sounds fair to me.

jonvi, this isn't the same Winthrop that finished Top 25 in 2007. Last couple of years they were 5th finishers in the Big South and last season tied for 2nd. The Big South is doing much better this season already. Charleston Southern taking down Ole Miss and now Winthrop over Clemson shows they are a formidable conference for a Mid-Major. Their HC Pat Kelsey was a a Xavier PG and later an assistant to Skip Prosser at Wake Forest '04-'09.
