Great effort by the Wings tonight considering it's their 3rd game in 4 nights. Nucks have this me thinks now after that 6th goal.

The Wings usually get at least one of these Western Canada road trips per season. By the end they always look a little fatigued, but they are just not sharp this period. This penalty box parade needs to stop.

I noticed that a few years ago, it seems to be getting worse every season.

Typically the worse the goaltender, the worse the team, or worse the confidence, the more the teams collapse. Right now the Wings look like they just want to hit the pillows.

Yeah, they played the first two periods with a lot more jump than I expected. By the end of the third, they were just completely ragged.
