These are my completely random thoughts so far...


Brendan (or Brandon if you are Ken Kal) Smith turned over somewhere around umpteen pucks last night.


Big E just might take my level of disappointment in a player higher than ever by years end. (there is hope, I might add)

Am I the only person who likes Doug Janik?? He makes great outlet passes, sees the ice well and is more poised with the puck than anybody who has been in the 6th spot in the last year. (yeah I pretty much just said fuck looking to fill that 7th. Make E fight for 6th instead)

A Lidstrom blast from the point with Homer in front is a prime example of how some things get sweeter with age.

Darren Helm is starting to look like he will be a top two line guy. (just learn how to finish, stonehands)
