I have been trying to think of who will win this year, and it has been a tough one.

Holland had a chance until his Asian joke fell flat.
Posey is not the rah-rah guy for this kind of award.
Bum is not the rah-rah guy for this kind of award.
Craw is a possibility, but he has flopped so hard it is hard for him to stand up for this.
Belt, um, no.
Cutch probably would have won if he weren’t traded.
DRod has a chance, but I don’t get the sense he is the same kind of ROOKIE as Duffy was.

Pence is clearly done as a player, but he still seems to own the locker room. Maybe he is the guy this year.

The Lincecum point is interesting, but I could also see that situation the team approaching Timmeh and asking if he wanted some sort of sendoff and he chose to go quietly.
