"Yahoo! Sports reported that the teams have discussed a multiplayer swap that would send guard Darren Collison and forwards Derrick Williams and Jason Thompson to Brooklyn in exchange for Williams."

Shouldn't they just have kept Thomas?

That's a solid trade for the Nets and the Kings get a player that could revive his career in a smaller market than the Big Apple.

Yes, looks like a decent deal for both teams. Williams might turn the Kings into a playoff team.

True, but based off rep I think most would take Williams. But, the Nets would get some nice extra pieces in Thompson and Williams plus get rid of Williams huge contract.
