There are a couple other teams trying to win as well. Repeating isn't very common. Could happen. Pedroia gonna leadoff?

briz, I don't recall you showing any interest whatsoever in the Red Sox all season. You're sure excited all the sudden.

Either him, Victorino, Nava, or someone they sign. I still have a little hope for JE not leaving.

For repeating, they could.

Very deep rotation and bull pen. Even without JE still one of the best line ups in the AL. They should be the favorite.

leadoff probably not u want him in position to hit guys in since hes such a good hitter. 3 or 4 spot is the best for him. i cant believe the sox were this good this year, they didnt even sign any big priced guys. makes you think about what they can bring in next year to add to this.

They could be the favorite. But you can't count on anything close to the consistent starts from that rotation.(the bullpen was not good for most of the season) Not trying to take anything away from Boston. I just don't see repeating, especially out of the AL East as any easy task. I agree on the lineup, but if Elsbury were to leave(someone might get crazy with a contract offer) he'd be missed. Not many options with comparable speed. Nava or Victorino would be a definite step down over the course of a season. But as was mentioned, tonight's way too early for this stuff. Congrats again on winning, and winning at home. Enjoy it, just in case things are different next October. :suds:

I can believe it. What I couldn't believe was how badly things turned out last year. What a cluster fuck that was. Luckily for your entire fan base that ugly episode got washed away, and fast. (Napoli was possibly the best FA signing in all of baseball over the offseason btw. Arguably... Right navamind? : )

If the number is higher than 10 he's either missing half his skull or lying.

Good question. I was going to ask if the Cardinals would return to the World Series next year and if Michael Wacha would win 20 games during the regular season...

But seriously, congratulations to the Boston Red Sox on a great World Series.
