I can see them using Felix where he something between a starter and an opener. Maybe a hybrid of the two where they have him penciled in for 50 pitches and then evaluate on a hitter-to-hitter basis from there.Inbox on Braves yesterday . With Hamels out to May . They need 2 spots . Felix is doing better than Newcomb
Does anyone know if players that aren’t going to play if they are going to get paid?
I honestly don't know. It still counts as a season so my guess is they will get paid for the 60 games.
I’m just wondering because if you voluntary refuse to play I am assuming there is something in the contracts. I’m sure the owners would wave that but the MLBPA has kept pushing for more games because they would get a higher percentage of their normal salaries.

With how much money Felix has accumulated over his career in Seattle It is just not worth going out there and risk catching the virus and spread it to his family over his $1 million salary.
