Today I got the Chargers and Ravens.

It’s always hard to predict what’s going to happen in playoff matchups, but my first instinct is to say these games won’t be too close.

If either of them maybe Steelers/Ravens since these two always battle each other hard and they split in the regular season.

If the Ravens play like they’ve got something to prove, then the Steelers gotta watch out.

I’m picking the Chargers and Ravens in today’s games - I think the Ravens should easily handle the Steelers, even without Flowers, the Ravens have a much more explosive offense and an equally strong D, they are at home, and they finished the regular season hot while the Steelers fell apart down the stretch. As for the Chargers/Texans, I think the Chargers win as they have a more complete team, the Texans do have a solid D and if they are going to win they’ll have to get a strong pass rush going and keep the game low scoring and hope Stroud can play a good game. The battle between the Chargers O-Line and the Texans pass rush will be key IMO.

I think the Ravens gotta at least make the SB for Lamar to have the looming cloud over him dissipate so to speak, he is down Flowers but he has Henry now also.

I'm going with both home teams. Russell Wilson is illustrating why Denver showed him the door. Ravens roll. CJ Stroud blows up and beats the Chargers in a shootout.

For sure. I also think Tomlin has to at least keep this close. Feels like his rep has been damaged quite a bit lately imo.

Herbert has also never won a playoff game. Which is kinda crazy

Stroud has been held down by a bad oline. I like him, but I don’t see that changing against the Chargers. And he’s got a depleted receiving corps.

Steelers have looked bad but I expect to see a healthy dose of Fields to throw a wrench in the Ravens D, and the Steelers D has always been tough for Lamar to solve. A closer call than it looks. If the Ravens win I think it will be Henry Henry Henry.

Yeah, reading the Steelers board and talking with a few of them, it seems they’ve accepted a likely one and done scenario because it is where they have been at for a bit.

First round exits their last three showings which all happened in the 2020’s.

They’ve said that Tomlin is basically their coach until he decides to hang it up or go elsewhere l guess, because apparently Rooney has given him a lifetime Steelers pass.
