Now they deliberately hold to prevent him from getting hit again.

FG makes it a two possession game, but Miami really needed a TD here.

That Dolphins receiver stopped his route. Didn't want to continue to work. "It's too cold, boohoo, boohoo!" This is why many of today's players are overpaid pussies that lack the mental discipline of the pro game to do only what they want to and are not much more than overpaid pussies.

Moore was rolling to the right and could be considered a runner & Cam Newton doesn't get that call... I'm not convinced that was a penalty.

Glad he's OK though.

Hey this is football. If you don't want to get hit, go play soccer. Roughing the passer? BS.
Exactly. IMO the hit on Moore was a good old fashion NFL hit. IMO I didn't think it was late and it shouldn't have been a penalty. But I'm not a ref and it's just my opinion.

while I completely agree with both you and @Retroram52 , we just have to get used to this in the new NFL and how it is now

Spot on OldTimer. I get that we should protect against concussions and such and the NFL is doing that but at some point, you have to let players play the game. Stop leading with the head is a good start but that hit was a full body smash in the cold. That's football. Protect yourself at all times and that is what Moore stated when he came back out. I passed the protocol checks, let me in coach.

alright fellers, lets put another one in for 6 before the half, and send those fishies to their locker rooms with frozen tears in their tear ducts!

As much as I hate the man, Pete Carroll and his defensive staff are teaching players the proper techniques for tackling and it encompasses the concussion protocol of the NFL and teaches the players to play the game to the fullest. Their tackling technique features NOT leading with the head but to explode into the player with the body and then rap the arms to get the opponent to the ground ASAP. The Steelers look like they have a similar program. That's the best of both worlds in today's NFL.
