finally got a chance to watch the game...

- Tamby could have had about 5 or 6. was buzzing around the net all night. great shot on the break.
- Loved Schaefer's effort on the PK. one of the best in the league at 'eating the puck'
- Ehrhoff was a beast. big hits, +5... not bad. Bieksa was a -1 for reference.
- Schneider wasn't busy, but he was very good when called upon (esp in the 3rd)
- Kesler is going to have a break out game soon. book it.
- Three lines were dangerous. that's a rare treat.
- Desbiens isn't my whipping boy anymore. that's back on Glass / Bieksa.
- Bieksa is still an idiot.

Is Tamby actually getting a regular shift? Sorry if I sound surprised but I am. He couldn't get out of the pressbox in L.I.. I do wish him well. Just like Bergy in Tampa. He's already got 3 goals. Sometimes all it takes is a change of scenerey.

it was a very fun game to be at ... i was in the BCAA booster club section (free tickets) ... alcohol free zone ... and the usher went out of his way to remind me about it as we arrived

anyways the goal that broke Scheiders shutout ... Bieksa went out of position and into the corner to throw a hit on a wild player who already had a canuck grinding him against the boards ... fucker!!!

for Tamby, first regular season game playing with the Sedins after spending a shitload of games with them in the preseason where they looked really good together ... it was about time ... he has no business playing bottom 6 with his skill level and lack of size ... too bad he's not consistent enough to play those top 6 minutes

i believe post game his words were along the lines of

"I went from waivers to the best job in hockey (playing with the Sedins)"
