This is suprising to me as I've always thought the Caps would someday retire that number to Calle Johansson. I think Calle's #6, Bondra's #12 and Kolzig's #37 are all worthy of the rafters.

First off, his name is MARCUS, not Calle. And I think it's a little early to talk about retiring his number.

I sure hope the Flames officially retire the #2 of Al Macinnis one day, I know his allegiance is more with St. Louis than Calgary, but he was a terrific player for several seasons when he wore the Flames jersey.

It is unofficially retired (i.e. no player has worn #2 since Al left)
