Why was Shady banned?

I was over on Disney yesterday and today, and I mentioned SportsHoopla and got some feedback from a few people..........obviously Shady spoke up and said he doesn't like a place where he gets banned for nothing.

Then I started thinking about it.......did we really need to ban Shady? For those who believe Shady = omahavinnie, let's pretend for a second that they are not the same person. Should Shady have been banned for simply voicing his opinion?

I personally think it makes us a bunch of pussies for not putting up with this posts...........though I rarely agreed with anything he said. There is a reason why fredmelmackian was banned, and that was because every post he made was a bash on another poster here..........but looking over our forum rules, what rules did Shady really break?

Sidenote: Some feedback I received from other posters was that they don't know if they like the swearing and cussing here because it doesn't represent Husker fans well. I will reserve my judgement on that issue.......but I think you know my stance on that.

Nah, Ghost ended up saying he didn't know for sure..........said he saw an Omaha IP address that was associated to several accounts, but IP banning Shady obviously didn't stop fred from coming back on.

So they had different IPs

Here's my stance on it.......honestly, I'm way too laid back to ever let someone's electronic internet writings get me all worked up. I didn't even vote off fred, because I didn't give a shit.........I can put up with anyone's bullshit.

However, fred wasn't talking about anything that had anything to do with Nebraska athletics, and he was just bashing everyone here. Shady wasn't...........I just don't see why we let Shady bully us into kicking him off.

I am pretty positive we voted him off because he was bashing Pelini...........but I don't know how that dumbs down the board, because the guy obviously was stating his opinion.

This season I noticed over on Disney that he admitted he was wrong about Pelini and he supported him all season.

I think we kinda bitched out to be honest and just kicked him off because we didn't like the fact that he didn't like Pelini.

I wasn't here for it, I personally don't care. Do I care for Shady's posts? Generally speaking, no. He is fun to flip shit to & thats something I guess.

I don't know the guy, nor do I ever intend to. Im cool with whatever the board did or decides to do now w/him.

LOL.......he said he wouldn't come back even if we would allow him back, because he says he was wrongly treated and that someone broke into his account and changed his avatar. I told him Ghost probably just changed his avatar as a joke or something (because Ghost has done that before to people).

I kinda liked him here just because it was fun having a dummy to beat up on.....like brasky said, it's fun for the offseason. I'll bet he would show his face here though if we did unban him.

By the way, I just don't see what is wrong here........he sent Landon a couple of PMs, and Landon didn't even say what they said.......he just said Shady was pissed because a thread was removed.

I mean, technically, if that's banworthy then I should be banned as well ............I was pissed off and ripped into TexasMan big time when he was going to ban Huskers21.
