Duchene the best player in the league right now? I'm a HUGE fan of Duchene. I thought he was a steal in the 2009 draft at #3 but he's not the best in the league right now.

That was my first thought too but it looks like it was just bad luck.

Not putting any weight on that leg looked bad for Scuderi though.

On a side note I will not be pleased if Kunitz somehow makes the Canadian Olympic team. His game pretty much is just to look for Crosby at all times.

It works on the Pens and he plays a really valuable role but I don't think that shit will fly against the best of the best in Sochi.

Looked like a knee on knee. Most would get the benefit of the doubt, but Clarkson isn't most. He's in the select few in this league who are cheap shots.

This would be a huge loss for Pittsburgh, as Scuderi has been integral to the Pens fast start this season. Really hope he is going to be ok.

Crosby has been fighting the puck (by his standards at least tonight) but call me impressed.

He's shielding the puck and using his strength to physically make plays MUCH better than I've see him do in the last 2 years. He's back to where he was early in his career in that respect.

Combine that with how he's learned to think the game in the last 2 years and it's pretty bad news.
