Pretty irrelevant question… but I'm genuinely curious if anyone has some knowledge.

Why are two NFC teams broadcasted on CBS for a noon Sunday game?

Bye week issues?

All I can think of.

every once in a while I see a headscratcher like a NFC home team on CBS.

I think it has something to do with the "flexed" games.

CBS is for old people and Bear games. Everything is already pre chewed.

I've noticed this a few times this year with AFC teams on Fox and NFC on CBS. Probably is due to the flex games to ensure there's a somewhat balanced line up. All the night games have Miami, buffalo, New England, Indy, Pittsburgh, and Tennessee. So that would leave CBS a little light this week.

The cross flexing of games is new for this season. However, yesterdays Bears-Vikes game might have been a late switch because I dont recall seeing it as CBS broadcast when the schedule was released. However, I did note that the Bears- Bills game was on Fox and the Bears-Lions Thanksgiving day game was on CBS.

Pretty sure it changed this year, along with all networks tellling people what games are on other networks sunday and monday night.

I put on fox at noon, then the radio thinking we got blacked out and people actually stayed home boycotting the game.

Damn, sorry but that's pretty funny. lol

I hope you noticed eventually that they were on CBS, or did you miss most or all of the broadcast?

They been doing this all year with the new cross flexing between networks.

Pats/Bills was on FOX earlier in the year.
Texans/Titans was also on FOX earlier this year.
Skins/49ers is on CBS this week

They stopped the segregation between the 2 networks:lol:
