It easily goes to the man to average the first triple double ever at 6'3" and actually plays defense. It shouldn't even be close.
Westbrook is not a very good defender though.
Kawhi should the answer. Westbrook will be the answer. LeBron is ineligible because his team only won 51 games.
What Westbrook did was Historic.
So, he's going to win it.
But, goodness.....did he force shit.
If I were voting, and I said this during the Season, I would give it to Kawhi.
Anyone that thinks he's not deserving, go back and compare the first half of game one of the WCF to the second.
We have had various threads debating this topic.I get the love for Kawhi, but WCF are off the books for a regular season award.
Funny how there are suddenly NO votes for Harden. That disappearing act when it counted vs the Spurs really dropped him off everyone's radar.
Any team that has LeBron can boast that they have the MVP of the league. If you have Lebron on your team, your chances of getting to the NBA finals skyrocket into outer space and beyond.
Westbrook could be an elite defender, no reason to believe he couldn't be. But he's not, still easily the MVP though.
