Both are going to be difference makers in the NFL after a few seasons, maybe even right out the gate… Depends where they end up. But IMO I think Mack is the more NFL ready talent. Barr is a bit more "raw" only in that he doesn't have the experience that Mack does at the OLB position (2 years for Barr so he's basically still learning the position). Barr isn't a great run defender yet, and that is where Mack excels (along with pass rushing). However Barr is the better coverage guy.

Basically it just depends on what type of OLB you are looking for. Mack will probably be the better 3-4 OLB, but I think over time after Barr gets coached up he will be the more rounded player.

I think Khalil Mack is going to be a stud in this league!!! A hard worker from a small football school he wants to show off his big time talent level. In the NFL it will be the first time he gets to play with talent around him. In 2-3 years I see Mack being one of the best linebackers in the league.

gotta wait and see where they land.
If either of them go to OAK, consider them a bust right now, until their rookie deal expires and they can go to a new team

Actually LB's aren't a terrible fantasy investment. . The Dline sure as he'll isn't stopping anyone.

Burnett 100+ tackles last year, Weaver 100+ in 2012, McClain 99 in 2011.

They may not get a lot of sacks, but they aren't too bad. Plus they're on the field A LOT

I feel ya there Treff - I'm not a big IDP person, was thinking more of impact to their team's Ws and Ls opposed to fantasy impact. Definitely see the plus side of getting LBs from a team like OAK that plays defense at the rate they do.

And I bet Mack was starting to get a little excited when BUF moved up last night, only to have his hopes and dreams crushed by the weight of wearing the silver and black. Good news though, Peyton Manning only has 2 years left, and he will be a raider for at least 4 years.

Lol.. Their name was said once to many times! !
But honestly. . With a totally revamped DLine consisting of Justin Tuck, Lamar Woodley, Pat Sims and Antonio Smith, Mack just might be freed up a little to do some damage.
