So who would you replace the pro-bowl OLB Brian Orakpo with?
Why would you limit Hall to the slot, where he does not excel? He plays people like Calvin Johnson and Dez Bryant better than everyone else. I'd go as far as to say Hall has played like a top ten CB.
Reed Doughty is a very good special teams player and plays pretty well when called on. He's also cheap. Who would you replace him with?
Rob Jackson is less of an OLB than Brian Orakpo. Where is your logic in keeping him?
So you want to keep Fred Davis? A guy who can't find the field and will likely cost more than we want to pay for a backup TE?

Brian Orakpo, OLB - 27 years old............................Keep only if there is a conversion back to a 4-3 def.
So what position does he play in the 4-3? Why?

DeAngelo Hall, CB - 29 years old............................Keep starts in slot ONLY!!
Why the slot only? Do you not believe he is capable of playing the outside?

Rob Jackson, OLB/Playmaker - 28 years old.............Keep
Why do you believe he is a better OLB than RAK?

Fred Davis, TE - 27 years old................................Keep, blocking sled/drills until he throws up.
Why do you keep a lazy POS?

Rex Grossman, QB - 33 years old..........................Cut, bring him back then cut again, to make the point
You are a dick.

Josh Morgan, WR - 28 years old............................Not ready to cut him........But........
But what? Do you believe he's worth the huge cap hit next season? Either way...he's gone and he's burned his bridges.

RG3- obvious keep.
KC- trade for a second or more if possible...if not then keep him.

Alfred Morris- no brainer unless you can get a first rounder for him.
Roy Helu- keep unless you can get a third or higher for him.
Chris Thompson- keep and draft another speedster for competition.

Darrell Young- keep

Fred Davis- Don't let the door hit you where the good Lord split you.
Jordan Reed- KEEPER
Logan Paulsen- KEEP
Niles Paul- KEEP

Trent Williams- keep
Tyler Polumbus- keep for depth
Tom Compton- keep for depth or cut him if he hasn't improved enough

Josh Leribeus- keep if he's in shape...cut his ass otherwise
Adam Gettis and Maurice Hurt compete for a position...possibly keep both.
Chris Chester and Will Montgomery keep for depth and competition.
Kory Lichtensteiger is a cut.

Pierre Garcon and Leonard Hankerson are keepers.
Make the others compete.
Moss retired.
Morgan cut and consider a resign but at a much reduced rate.

Cofield, J. Jenkins, Worthington, Baker, Cofield, and Nield keep.
Bowen, Golston, and Carriker are cut.

RAK, Kerrigan, and Riley are starters at LB. We need another through FA, draft, or competition.

All other LBs compete with only Jenkins being safe. Keep nobody that is 30 or over.

Amerson, Minnifield, Thomas, and Rambo are keepers. I'd also keep Reed Doughty.
Richard Crawford is healthy is safe. He has proven his worth as a return man.
Look to resign Hall and Merriweather in our favor only.

Make all others compete.

Rocca is gone and I don't need to give an explanation.

Forbath keep because he has potential and I'm tired of chasing kickers.

Forbath keep because he has potential and I'm tired of chasing kickers.

Gotta Keep Cousins unless the offer absolutely wows the new HC (wishful thinking) and team management. Pick-up J. Campbell to compliment the style player RGIII is.

I'm OK with A. Morris and C. Thompson.......Helu has gotta go, pick up and upgrade in his wake.

D. Young is the starter, but needs reliable backup.

Fred Davis-KEEP (again wishfully hoping for a new HC)
Jordan Reed- KEEPER
Logan Paulsen- KEEP
Niles Paul- Earn your spot or get replaced.

Trent Williams- keep
Tyler Polumbus- Journey man let's see how far from here that journey takes him
Tom Compton- keep for depth or cut him if he hasn't improved enough

Josh Leribeus- Camp invite...........if he earns it OK otherwise where to place his name on the waiver wire
Adam Gettis Cut
Maurice Hurt compete for a position
Chris Chester....Back to Baltimore or wherever, just not here.
and Will Montgomery keep for depth and competition.
Kory Lichtensteiger is a cut.

Pierre Garcon....moves to his natural #2 spot
Leonard Hankerson and New Stud competes for #1 spot
Moss retired.....Robinson fills his slot
Morgan....resign but at a much reduced rate.

Cofield, J. Jenkins, Worthington, Baker, Cofield, and Nield ...but convert to 4-3
Golston, competes
Bowen and Carriker are cut.

RAK, Kerrigan, bulks up and are DE's with RAK sometimes in the passing assignments
Riley starts at MLB.
Draft or acquire LBers
Jenkins and others are in competition for spots.

Amerson, Minnifield, Thomas, and Rambo, Crawford are keepers.
Reed Doughty good luck in Free agency
Look to resign Hall cheaply
Merriweather maybe depends on price, get T. Mays and others in Free agency, draft.

Rocca comes back to mentor the new guy or beat him out.

Forbath keep because he has potential and with work to strengthen his ability to kickoff deep and from distance for FG's could become one of the best in the league.

Make all others compete.........Maybe there's something to the report that many believed themselves to be starter worthy.

Guess I'm just gonna have to become a WP sportswriter. Clearly when something is written there it has merit....when I write the same thing weeks or months ahead of the WP article..............crickets......SMH!!

I know how you feel. I've said it before, but I'd bet the majority of us posting on the board follow the skins and know football as well, if not better than most of these bloggers. I rarely read most of their crap. Only a few are insightful. Keim, for one, doesn't seem to be a rumor monger and actually tries to investigate before publishing.
