I moved to Renton, WA in July 1979 as a fresh recruit from UIUC to Boeing. I found an apartment in the big complex just outside the South Gate, and I had a seven-minute walk to work every day (no car). I remember going to Soft Sam's tavern in the Boeing parking lot and watching the Zorn/Herrera/Largent/Patera Hawks blow a late lead and lose to the hated Raiders 17-19 on MNF. I was so drunk and so POed that I went into the john and tore the water circulating pipe above the P trough right out of the wall.

LOL X 2. Nah. I was 23 and a hellraiser back then (Nov. 17 1980). At the end of SB 49, I just cried out in disbelief and then went straight home from my buddy's place. I did not talk about the game with anyone for a month afterwards, however.

Except this Harbaugh is 1-0 against he NFCW in the Super Bowl....I like the idea of Baltimore beating another NFCW team in the Super Bowl.

It would be a nice feather in the cap for Harb's to beat the top 2 best teams from the NFCW representing the NFC in the SB, but Pete and company would love to stick it to the Harbaugh family once again.
