I went with Bryant. The Cubs are looking pretty good. The Nats are kind of a mess.

C'mon now....I'm certainly no stickler for sabremetrics and the like....but you gotta admit, some of those stats can be rather telling, amirite?

I guess the way you think...it's only interesting to you if those numbers/graphs/charts etc. benefited your team somehow?

That's friggin weird, dude.

but I said nothing about their talent, or that of their teammates...did I?
That's something you said.

I also said said Goldy would win one 1st...but he wasn't on the list.
So you think the Giants and Diamondbacks will pull off a blockbuster this year? You must anticipate Belt getting hurt if you have Goldy getting traded to the Giants.

Fair enough, but I dont necessarily agree with your prediction.

:noidea:

Actually I see Goldy winning one in Arizona...but if Trout were to get traded (not to the giants) he could get a ring 1st.

If the cubs don't win this season they are in trouble, they have a very old rotation...

Washington has 2 big pitching prospects coming up, and will clearly be a good pitching team for the next few seasons... So Harper, is on the team with the most potential IMO...

Not with Dusty managing.

I know I'm biased, but have you seen the Cubs lineup this year? The toughest thing for the Cubs this year is to bat bomber, Schwarby, 2nd, 5th, 6th? It's a great problem to have.

108 yrs and counting since they won it all.....and 71 yrs since their last appearance in a WS.

Good Luck.

I went with Bryant solely because his team is easily the closest right now.

And it's hard to predict much with teams outisde of maybe 1-2 years.

This might be harpers best shot for a few years with Stras likely leaving.

I know Giolito is close to ready as well, but it's hard to expect him to replace Stras from day 1.
