7-5 in my $250 league, currently sitting in 3rd place, 4 make the playoffs. But spots 1-6 are all within one game of each other. Basically win and you're in. Just got crushed by the worst team in the league 204-132 cause his guys decided to have career games against me(Gordon&Moreno) like always shit teams have great weeks against me.

We have the 2nd most points in the league so if we end up with the same record as the other teams, outside of my uncle who has the most but sitting in 6th place, we will get in. Playing against the team in 5th place, we beat him week 5 by 60, hoping for the same outcome.

Out of these 3 RB's who would you play? Vereen/Tate/Pierre Thomas? Just one of them, already have Alfred Morris in our lineup.

Rest of my lineup is this

Brees
Bryant
Green
Torrey Smith
Tony G
Hauschka
Bengals D

Torrey Smith your flex or WR3?

I would start Vereen over PT and Tate. I would move PT into the flex over Torrey, if allowed, and if there's no flex, I'd still go with Vereen over the others.

Although Vereen and PT are extremely close, IMO, not sure I'm big on PT against the Seahawks.

RBs for the saints are unlike RBs for other teams, teams dont come in to stop the run, therefore i dont think seattle defense is a reason not to start Thomas... I just dont trust patriot RBs...

We play 3 WR's so Smith is our 3rd, was thinking about Vereen since Ridley sucks and Brady loves to dump it off to him out of the backfield, but so does Brees with Thomas and they have the Seawhawks this week so that's a tough matchup. Also a PPR league.

1st off need to know your points for RBs cause 200 is alot for a week depends on the scoring

Tate vs NE Vereen vs Hou Thomas vs Sea

Vereen best match up but Tate is main back

If its PPR go with Vereen:suds:

actually, Vereen is exactly like the RB's for the Saints (less Ingram)... I just think the Pats get way more opportunities for yards and points than the Saints IN Seattle. I would usually trust PT more too, due to his 10ish carries to Vereen's 5ish, just a bad matchup against a top 3 defense coming off a bye makes the decision much easier for me.

Every 10 yards is a point, 3 point bonus for reaching 100, 4 point bonus for reaching 200 yards, same for receivers. Any TD 50-74 yards is worth 6, any TD 75-99 is worth 12.

I guess it should say PT's 15ish carries to Vereen's 10ish, as I wasn't aware SV had 10 totes. It is pretty much personal preference. The only thing here, is that SV might not need the 8 catches he normally gets, assuming the Pats are leading... good game for Bolden?

wait a sec! if it's PPR, I'm benching Alf and starting both PT and SV... problem solved.

Was thinking of doing that as well, but at the least, Morris is 13 points, tough to bench him when we made a big trade for him right after the draft.

No way should you not start morris... Dont worry about PPR, it can be a crutch when setting your lineup... Who will have more touches morris, vereen, thomas??

in order: 1. Morris, 2. Thomas, 3. vereen

who is more likely for a TD??
1. Morris 2. Thomas 3. vereen

Touches is more important than catches anyday...

Not saying vereen is not going to have a good game, i just think it is less likely than the other 2 having good games due to who will likely have more touches-Yards and TDs are a byproduct of touches...

Your logic is flawed. Thomas has scored like 30 more points than Morris this year and if you had started Morris over Thomas the past 4-5 weeks you would have been missing out on points each week. At this point...in ppr...Thomas is more valuable than Morris.

Whats more valuable in ppr? A guy that got 15 carries for 80 yds or a guy that gets 15 touches for 80 yds....but with 5-6 catches? Morris could very well have a good game...lets say he gets 100 yds rushing and a td...Id rather have the guy that gets 80 total yds...a td....and 5-6 catches....that would be 16 pts for Morris to 19-20 pts for the other guy. You way undervalue the value of back who is involved in a passing game in ppr.

With the woes of the Skins offense...id start Thomas and Vereen over Morris. Morris has been under 10 the past 2 games...while the other guys have put up 13 or more.

PPR only though. If I had to pick just one and you still wanted to start Morris Id go with Thomas. He has been putting up double digits for weeks now...and Seattles defense is suffering in the secondary because of injuries and the suspension of Browner...Brees will open up the run game with the pass.

My point is that it is the touches that equate into who is more likely to get more Yards and the TD...

your example is 2 players with the same touches and yards... of course then the catches matter in PPR... but how can you argue against the logic that the player with more touches will likely get more yards and will more likely get the TD...

i dont follow your math either... that would be 16 points(100+TD) for morris to 11-14 points(80 yards 6 catches)

Honestly i'm most likely keeping Morris in, just debating on the other spot.

You forgot the td

I had a example score of Morris with 100 plus a td....and the other player with 80 yds...5-6 catches...and a td

And its all good we can agree to disagree and we will see...I just bought in on Vereen big time this year...and had he not been hurt think he would have blown up this year...and if his 3 games were an example of that...then I think I was right. Ridley is now in a 3 back committee for the rushing back...but Vereen doesnt fall in that line. He is the 3rd down back and passing down back...and thats a lot of opportunities. Since he has returned he leads the pats in receptions over the last 2.

I'm confused. Morris has 5 TD's this year. Five. Why is he guaranteed 13? Vereen and Thomas are guaranteed a floor of 5 catches every game. There's 5 points Morris hasn't made up all season, (3 catches this year), let alone one game. It's not close for me, I'm all over the other two in a PPR.

If he hits 100 yards he gets a 3 points bonus, so that is 13 right there. He hasn't been bad for us, just inconsistent, I expect him to have a good game on the ground against the Giants.
