I wouldn't vote for the guy, but he does belong in the hall of very good imo

I'm not entirely sure if I'd vote for him, but I think he's easily among the best players outside of Cooperstown (at least among those non-eligible) and better than a decent portion of those in the HOF.

Regardless, he should have lasted a lot longer on the ballot. Especially when guys like Jack freaking Morris are still on the ballot.

Another guy that surprises me to see go so fast was albert belle. 381 home runs in a 10 year span is ridiculous. He was one of, if not the, most feared slugger of the '90's. if he could have added 4 more decent years to his resume, he'd be in.
