I am using this list from Bleacher Report.

1. Will Muschamp (Florida)
2. Brian Kelly (Notre Dame
3. Tommy Tuberville (Texas Tech)
4. Dan Mullen (Mississippi State)
5. Mike Riley (Oregon State)
6. Bill Snyder (Kansas State)
7. Bill O'Brien (Penn State)
8. Frank Solich (Ohio)

I am going to add Nick Saban on the poll even though Bleach Report doesn't have him.

I think Bill O'Brien should be the front runner right now. With all that PSU has gone through and other programs allowed by the NCAA to talk to his players to talk them into transfer out and losing lots of key players. They weren't expected to be 5-2 with those players, and here they are at 5-2.

I don't think any coach right now has gone through near as much as O'Brien has, and if they did, they still wouldn't look this impressive.

Mike Riley turned a 3-9 team into a top 10 team and they've beat some decent opponents...I think it's him or Synder. Voted for Mike.

KSU was picked 6th in the conference. They are now ranked 3rd in the bcs and have road wins @ OU and @ WVU. Easily coach of the year to date.

I do agree that he is doing an amazing job. It seems that Duke has came out of nowhere. He is definitely one that is being overlooked.

I think it's Snyder or Riley at this point.

I think if Bama wins back to back titles though, you can't just not give COTY to the coach that took a team to back to back titles. You realize how tough it is to keep those players focused?

He won't win, but it's worth mentioning and that Bob Davie (New Mexico). They are currently 4-4, but when you take into consideration that they coming off three straight one-win seasons, it's very impressive.

If the season ended today he might have a chance. But he won't be in the discussion when he finishes the year 7-5 or even 6-6.

Anyone who knew anything knew that was a total joke. Sports writers are so stupid.

And just a side note - remember when people though KSU was racist for firing Ron Prince in favor of getting Snyder back? Stupid.
