To be fair, it was basically her idea. She tried to convince me to go last week, but it didn't work with my schedule. That said, at this point - given our financial situation - I wouldn't consider spending this much without her Ok.

I bet she has spent more money on useless accessories and clothes than you have on football. Buy a ticket. Enjoy it.

I am trying to go, I have friends who are season ticket holders and they couldn't get them at presale. I am going to try the general sale and hope for the best. If I get them I am driving up from So Cal, plane tix are too expensive.
