Hello, my name's Jeff, and I'm a Bengals fan.

90% of everyone I interact with on a daily basis are either Steelers or Browns fans...so you can imagine how much fun this past week has been. It's getting really old. Anytime some other teams players do something stupid, and I try to make a joke about it, the response I always get is "yeah, but you're a Bengals fan", and there is no comeback for that.

On top of everything else, this weeks home opener is blacked out. It's for the best I suppose, I really wasn't looking forward to the obligatory highlights of Joe Montana ripping out the Bengals hearts in the 80's that comes anytime Cincy plays the 49ers.

Ah, the life of a Bengals fan.

There is one good thing about being in the middle of nowhere. I don't have to worry about blackouts. I've watched every game since the Sunday Ticket came out in 1999 (I think?, man that makes me feel old).

Over the past years, I've slowly just been becoming a football fan, rather than just a bengals fan.

you can't force a team to win. The Bengals are obviously an organization which is being run into the ground by a greedy and arrogant owner. Even their star player would rather pass on millions of dollars of the Bengals money, because he believes playing one more down in this hell hole will tank his career.

I root for other teams too because it is the only thing that keeps me sane. i like the Lions, Bills, Saints.
