There have been a lot of threads on the up-coming draft, most of them focusing on our top picks in the early rounds, but what about 4 thru 7? Are there players who would be absolute steals in these later rounds. Not necessarily projects, bur potential next man up types? We're told that SM's forte is finding real gems in these rounds. It would be interesting to see who the Washington Sportshoopla prognosticators come up with.

One that jumps out at me is Stefon Diggs, WR, Maryland. He seems to be rated in the 4-6 range by a couple better know sites.

Guy is pretty electric with the ball in his hands, he would be a great slot guy, PR. Potentially a D-Jax replacement in a few years.

While awaiting a few responses, I did some digging and here are a few names that might surprise in the 4th thru 7th rounds.

1. Antoine Evert, OT, McNeese State he's 6ft 3 and 325 pounds, grades out to play guard, good hands, feet and balance, but here's the kicker, the guy can motor.....runs the 40 in the 4.62 to 4.65 range.

2. Al-Hajj Shabazz, CB, Westchester, 6 ft 2, 200 pounds. Has played the other teams best wideout and at that level of play considered "THE" shutdown corner.

3. Tye Smith, CB, Towson, 6ft, 191 pounds, 40 yard times 4.40 and 4.51. Full disclosure, a bit of bias because of my Alma Mater......Towson.

4. Nigel King, WR, Kansas, 6ft 3, 210 pounds, 40 time 4.46, great (soft) hands makes difficult catches seem routine (sound familiar?), big body.
