Going into this season

1. Ravens --Lost defensive leaders, Flacco is not a top 5 quarterback
2. Packers --Defense is overrated, no proven run game, Rodgers can only do so much
3. Eagles -- Quarterback competition means you have no quarterback, (I'm an Eagles fan)
4. Giants -- Few offensive weapons IMO. Again like Rodgers, Eli can only do so much.
5. Texans -- Every year there is talk of them being a great team, but they still can't seem to put it together

As said before, going into this season.

1. Seattle - DLine is in flux for much of the first part of the season due to injuries and suspensions, 2nd year QB who now faces DC with a full year of game tape.
2. Washington - RGIII is great and he makes the team better but will he be 100% this season, I dont think so.
3. New Orleans - I dont think they will be bad, but I see a 4th place finish coming up for them.
4. Dallas - They have to make this list every year.
5. Pittsburgh - No One is talking Super Bowl but no one is talking finishing in last.

Back to the original thread topic:

In no particular order

RG3, RW, Kap, Eli and I hate to say it but probably Flacco right now.

Why don't you put career stats of Brees and Brady side by side and tell me how Brees is overrated?

Not sure what you think that will prove. Brady has identical YPA, a better touchdown percentage, a better interception percentage, and a better rating. Brees has an edge in completion percentage.

What does that have to do with my claim that Brees is overrated exactly? Stats are a small piece of the picture.

1). SF - Secondary sucks. Gore on the wrong side of 30. Crabs was 50% of their passing attack.

2). Ravens. Lost too much of the vet core that got them to the SB. Weak at WR.

3.). Redskins. Paid the price for making RG3 a one man show. Morris is not the longterm workhorse RB they still need. No cap space kept them from doing anything in FA.

4). Pats. Lost so many primary WR/TE weapons. Gronk a question mark. Defense still a major weakness.

5). GB. No doubt Rodgers is one if the best, but stupidly lost big WR weapon to rival. D still looking questionable. Got a running game, but rookies.

1. Denver. ESPN just posted that they think that Denver has a 91% chance of making the playoffs. Peyton doesn't even have a 91% chance of playing 10 games this season. I would say they have a 55% chance of winning their division and about a 66% chance of making the playoffs. So they're overrated.

2. Houston. They ended up dropping from 5th to 11th in football outsiders efficiency rankings last year and that was with JJ Watt being the best player in the NFL (or at least top 3). Schaub and Andre Johnson are generally injury prone. Not a lot of hope at a Super Bowl, imo.

3. New England. I mean they have Tom Brady but they look like a .500 team. I feel that if they were in any other division, people would be completely writing them off.

4. Dallas. They are here every year and for the same reasons.

5. Minnesota. What are the odds that Peterson repeats what he did last year? 50%? 35%?

Kaepernick (People forget the Ravens obliterated the Niners in the SB and basically drew up the blue print on how to beat them for everyone else)

lol wut?

The 49ers were one play (5 yards) away from winning the SB with less than 2 minutes to go.

The 49ers offense scored 29 points (which was 4.2 more points than their reg season avg)

The 49ers offense amassed 468 yards (which was 100+ more yards than their reg season avg)

Kaepernick threw for over 300 yards and rushed for 62 more at 9 ypc.

How is that considered "obliteration" and drawing up the blueprint to beat them?

:wtf2:

Just wondering why in the world you think Peyton doesn't have a 91% chance to play in 10 games this year considering other than his one missed season he has never missed a game? Everybody last year kept screaming that he would break first hit of the year but he made it through a full season with his worst injury being a cut open finger that he hit on a helmet. Throw in Peyton has made it to 10 straight playoffs (I guess 10 of 11 if you count the season he didn't play in). I can understand if you would say they are being overhyped for the Superbowl but to actually make the playoffs that is just ridiculous to say that is being overhyped.
