And yes, speaking of iddy, where the heck is he? He's never away from the board this long. I hope all is ok with him.

Am I only one who thinks La Russa bungled the end of this game? He fixed it so Hendriks was the 2nd base runner (which MLB has a rule to avoid that) and then when Hendriks got to 3rd with Billy Hamilton up - Hamilton couldn't bunt because Hendriks was on 3rd. By rule Abreu could have run for Hendriks.

Pretty much...I mean...The offense scoring a run or two would have helped...but he actually hurt our chances at the end...and that's hard to say about a coach without getting pissed off...

I was like most of you in giving LaRussa every chance to prove he belonged back in the saddle. So far, I don't think he's cutting it. And short of him leading us deep into the playoffs, I see little chance of him returning next season.
