For real though, Kansas is and I imagine will always be a BBall powerhouse. (Good way to start by bringing in the man who invented the game.)

Even with all of Calhouns success and their recent impressive run and championship, I don't consider them among the Elite programs. No more than I do Louisville anyway.

UCONN deserves more respect than they get. Certainly. When answering this question you need to take the place of an average observer. The average observer recognizes KU basketball more than UCONN basketball. The UCONN brand is damn good. They need fan support though. KU is a blue blood and it's really hard to make that cut.

KU does, every 15-20 years or so...next appearance should be sometime between 2020 and 2025.

Kansas has been and always will be a top 3 program.
UCONN has been a top 5 program under Calhoooooney, but can they stay up there with Kevin Ollie now?
I know he has a title already, but that wasn't because of his coaching abilities...IMO.
Not saying he's a bad coach or anything, but time will tell if he keep them up there near the elite.
