Same pay. Head Coach of a school that really can't compete, or a Defensive Coordinator in the NFL

No he is doing fine. Have no problem with him. I just figured he might retire in the next 2 or 3 yrs. The head coach at Vandy is a terrible HC but an awesome DC.

We wouldn't be having this discussion if Romo had not gotten injured.

I'd be surprised if Romo ever play 16 full games again. Said it before the year and still feel it. His desire to play with pain is high, but i just don't think his body is at the same level as his mind...

Well I will say it makes for a real boring game when he isn't playing.

And makes us a much worse team...i have no doubt we would be in first with a healthy Romo right now...

Rod might coach longer than that, the guy has a ton of energy and does a great job. If he ever does leave, I would expect them to go after someone who has coached under Rod and is versed in his system

Mason has not coached under Rod, however he is from the same tree of coaches
