Which Husker will have a break-out season?

Last year I said Greg McMullen, Nate Gerry, and Mauro Bondi I think. The lights seemed to come on for McMullen towards the end of the season. Gerry was out of his element. Mauro Bondi was beat out by the walk on. McMullen was Academic Big Ten, darn impressive.

For 2014

Nate Gerry. They put him at linebacker last year because of his speed, hopefully, his speed and him playing his high school position(comfort zone) makes him into a good player and then a star.

OL Tanner Farmer. Will play as a true freshman. A true stud heavy weight wrestler. He is going to manhandle defenders with his hand speed, balance, and foot work.

RB Adam Taylor just because I want to see him play and I have ultra high hopes for him. He looked great in red and white in high school, so he should look great in red and white at Nebraska.

DE AJ Natter. He has a motor.

Punter Sam Foltz. If he can kick that well as a freshman, his sophomore season should be a breakout season since he now knows what he needs to do. Having a good long snapper in Gabe Miller, really helps.

if he doesn't redshirt i think Jaevon Walton will be an eric martin level stud on special teams, maybe impress at LB too

T. Allen on offense. if not for the knee injury back in 2012 he would have been a star last year.

Charles Jackson defense. talented fast hard hitting when he finally earns the coaches trust he's gonna be a nightmare

Oh wait, we need a coach on the staff that actually cares about punt returns for that to happen.

I'm gonna go with Terrell Newby on O (though to be more realistic i would say Alex Lewis) and Jonathan Rose on Defense.

Zo Moore is a very good choice as well.

Was doing some reading, and was going to choose Alex Lewis on Offense also. But of course that and my defense pick would mean people are talking. Is Maliek Colllins going to be tough? Apparently, Ameer Abdullah thinks Collins has all-conference talent.

Bo Pelini will have the break out season. This year he will actually climb up into the stands and try to strangle a fan.

Afterwards in the press conference he'll go ape shit and tell Brian Christopherson to meet him in the parking lot for a 1-on-1 chat in about an hour.
