Tony Romo - QB - Cowboys
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports trading Tony Romo is the Cowboys' "No 1. priority this offseason."

"We know he's not going to be on the Cowboys in 2017," Rapoport said confidently about Romo. He again said Romo would like to land with the Broncos, but added Denver does not "seem inclined to make that move." With it all but decided Romo will be playing elsewhere next season, the only questions remaining are where he ends up and how he gets there. Those questions should dominate the discussion this offseason

No clue what their cap situations are but Denver & Houston would seem to be good fits.... teams that have pretty much everything else needed to win in place except for a QB.

I think the easy thing to say is the Broncos because we saw what some half way decent QB play can do for them but I don't think Elway is interested in another short-term option at QB because it puts the franchise in a difficult situation or forced to use a high draft pick on a player who will have to be okay with sitting on the bench...and deal with annoying ass controversy created by the media. I think the risk of injury may scare off a first year coach as well.

I think the Jets, Bills, Bears, and Vikings could be teams that go for him. I think the 9ers and Browns draft their QB.

Bears, Jets and Bills with a big outside chance are my predictions as well.

Texas should cut their losses w Osweiler. Just admit that mistake and move on.

If Romo cant land with a contending team he might as well stay with the Cowboys next year.

After what we saw when Carr went down, we can use Romo as a backup.

Plenty of teams desperate enough to pay for him, but he doesn't seem willing unless its a contender. That eliminates a lot of teams.

Aside from Denver, another candidate could be Arizona if Palmer decides to hang it up this offseason.

Houston seems like a good fit but they already paid Brock and I'm sure their cap can't handle another franchise QB contract. But Cleveland could afford him. :dhd:

Houston & Denver are the clear best options I think. That's really all either of them need, a QB. Not sure Jones will want to trade him to another Texas team though, and apparently Denver "isn't inclined to make that deal". But I still feel like Denver will wind up with him, gives Lynch more time to develop, so they're in a perfect situation to get a 1-2 year option.
